We were over at my inlaws house today and gas was %3.559 near them, so we filled up over there.

You have to be very careful not to bump into things. When my was frozen I bumped into a street sign and almost fainted.

36. I was in Chino yesterday.
Actually it was more like $3.75 where I filled up. Personally I think Exxon should be forced to surrender one of its $40 BILLION quarterly profits and forward $1000 back to everyone as a "gas stipened".

13. Wisconsin always was higher than Minnesota.
Higher gas taxes maybe?

I miss being able to get E-85 (used to get that in Minnesota when we lived there) for 65 cents a gallon cheaper than regular unleaded.

33. Yeah, it varies all over Houston.
I know there's a Shell station at about that much at 290 and Bingle (I use it on the way home sometimes) and my local station is currently replacing all their tanks, so no price comparison there. I filled up yesterday for 3.32 at a Shell about five miles from home. So long as my little Civic gets above 30mpg, I'm happy :)

I know of one Shell at the corner of Richmond and Chimney Rock that is routinely 20 cents more than their competitors. They have a mechanic service, so I would guess that's how they stay in business. I don't understand their logic otherwise...

"1.64 is unacceptable for a gallon of gasoline". "I would release the strategic oil reserves to keep prices low and jawbone OPEC to produce more". Bush was critical of Al Gore in the 2000 campaign for being part of “the administration that’s been in charge” while the “price of gasoline has gone steadily upward.”

Feckin rich yeah?

This morning on the way to work, I saw some asshole at an Exxon station was selling regular for $3.69. I was tempted to stop and tell him that I thought he was price-gouging.
