Anybody else a huge "Rent" fan?

B/f was justifiably, I guess, upset last evening when he drove up to find an unfamiiar truck in my driveway. Nice man I met last weekend who I thought I'd never see again. Does anybody else here love the musical? I'm addicted, and I freaking HATE musicals.

I love musicals, and bought the soundtrack to Rent when it came out. Listened to it exactly once and hated it, and never listened to it again. Sounded like a bad high-school play to me.

You can't listen to a soundtrack and enjoy the freaking songs? You have to see the play/movie. Rosario Dawson may change your mind about "Light My Candle." But, ah.... it is not my place to enlighten... :P

7. Saw it on (or just off, I forget) Broadway. VERY good.

And I'm not exactly fond of musicals. Rent and Sweeney Todd are about the only ones I liked.
