DU made CTSTDT.
http://www.fstdt.com/fundies/Default.aspx?archive=3

Everybody say thanks to the crazy folks for making it all possible. :sarcasm:

If they keep trying, they'll outdo the "Bush Caused the Tsunami" debacle eventually. And damned if they're not trying. :patriot:

Personally, I'm looking forward to the threads on how the then-so-secret-they-didn't-know-they-existed CIA programmed John Wilkes Booth to take the fall, and in fact Mary Todd Lincoln shot Abe Lincoln because mercury in her smallpox inoculation caused her mental illness.

2. Oh conspiracy theorists...
They don't even warrant me trying to think up anything sardonic and witty to say about them.

3. !
"The bankers used paid subversives like Betty Frieden and Gloria Steinem and the mass media to make it seem that Feminism was a spontaneous occurrence."

Hmmm...where is Seneca Falls, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Lucretia Mott in this guy's historical exegesis? Oh, that's right...about 120 years earlier :sarcasm:

4. "Gravity defeating technology"?
:rofl::rofl::rofl:
Well, if nothing else, "mattihorn" has certainly defeated common sense.

And I KNEW I'd find a reference to the Freemasons. And the Illuminati. These nuts had better come up with some new tricks before the rest of us get bored with them.

6. Like those nutcases who said there were no WMDs in Iraq
Or those loons who warned of terrorists flying planes into buildings before 9-11, or people who claim that there is global warming. And how about those idiots who said that Hitler was evil when Time made him "Man of the year" in 1938. What a bunch of crackpots.

7. well according to those crackpots
no planes or terrorists exist. There is a BIG difference from being skeptical (Which I was on all the idiocy you listed) and being a paranoid conspiracy theorist. If you don't think claiming that the planes that hit the WTC were holograms, and that the towers were brought down by lasers is paranoid, well you obviously don't exist in the same reality most of us do.

8. Typically, conspiracy theorists are all lumped together though
Of course some theories are pretty outlandish, but to say that people who question the "official" JFK assassination story are crackpots is a little naive. Some people will believe everything that people in power will tell them and that's what looks like those people on that site are talking about.

10. Ummmm.....
Cheney and the FBI have both, since 9/11, stated very clearly that there isn't enough proof to show that Bin Laden/Al Qaeda pulled off 9/11.

Furthermore, if you go to your post office and look at the "Most Wanted" poster of Bin Laden, there is no mention of 9/11 OR the USS Cole. Last I saw, the poster was updated January 2007.

Am I a conspiracy theorist? Not usually; but there was too much about that day that was absolutely bogus. Actually, most of the day's events were absolutely bogus.

I'm personally getting tired of people defending the "9/11 Commission Report". I read the report; there are too many vague areas, and too many parts of the story that have been deemed "top secret" or "investigation not complete".

Too early in the mornin' for the deep stuff. Just my thoughts this morning. :)
