What's for dinner?
Bacon cheeseburgers here...If you sense a bacon theme for the past few days, we're trying not to waste any of our package of Boar's Head Bacon. Food is expensive...

This weekend, homemade pizza, made with Teese!!

1. I had the most yummy!
I had the most yummy veggie burger I EVER ate. My husband says I must have just been so hungry and that's why I say that but really there was something Great about it.. I told him, "my burgers are better tasting than yours" I said, but he doesn't believe me. Whatever, his loss, I just know tonight's veggie burger makes me want to eat veggie burgers every day. I'd just get fat though if I did.

I didn't order the Teese Cheese because I'm too cheap. I'm gonna look for it at Whole Foods though.

18. Those all sound good.
The Tofurkey folks make a KILLAH Italian sausage. Sliced and gratuitously scattered about the pizza...it's almost linguica.

I also dig the pineapple on my pie.

One of us. One of us.

9. Lentil and cheese loaf
It's usually very tasty, when my husband makes it. I did the cooking tonight and it was only passable. I finally had to admit that he is the better cook, I guess I am now stuck with the dishes til death do us part.

10. Pasta
Italian sausage, ricotta, parm, with some of the pasta water to form the sauce, tossed with the pasta.

Simple, less than 30 minutes to prepare, delicious, and plenty left over for lunch, dinner, and perhaps another lunch.

24. Hot Dogs from Big Mouth, we're having a roommate beer party
Edited on Thu Apr-17-08 09:07 PM by nemo137
We each got a 6 of something neat (Honey Brown, Newcastle, and Woodchuck) and are sharing (and sitting on our computers doin' our own things). We decided that Big Mouth's sounded good, so I got 2 dogs with everything but peppers. They come with some nice, fresh, fries.

25. Zatarain's dirty rice
the New Orleans rice mixes magically reappeared at my local a couple of weeks ago, after an absence of a year and a half. Last week: black beans and rice. This week: dirty rice. (Those are the only two they have. )

Brown a pound of ground beef, add it to the mix, boil for 25 mins. Has lasted since Tuesday. One of these fine days I'll get back to town for the real thing, though.
