Actually, you're not far from us. Getting lots of rain here in Valley Ranch. We're very glad we already worked out! Hoping we don't get any more house damage than we already have (which has yet to be repaired).

What they do - and this drives me crazy - is stop in the middle of the freeway...blocking access for everybody else, including emergency vehicles, just to try to avoid hail damage. Just one of a brazillion reasons I can't stand this place!!

I've lived all over the world and have never seen anything like it-- every storm... every time. (sigh)

Oh, and, there are always people who drive around the barricades and get stuck in high water. :eyes:

8. It doesn't take much to get a drivers license these days.

There is a guy in the Nashville area that hit a vehicle that had broken down in the far left lane of the interstate. The owners of the vehicle just parked it on the highway with no lights/blinkers. It was at night & raining out. He hit it and was seriously injured, he was a temporary worker for Nissan with no health insurance. The vehicle tags/ownership records were bogus so nobody could be traced back to the idiot who caused the wreck. I saw this on a fund raising bucket down at the store. He owes 100k+ for the medical bills.
