Poll question: A recent post made me relive a horrifying experience

In that spirit I post my first poll question: Why did Canada break my window?

2. Once upon a time, long ago, in Oakland California..

.. at a place called 17th & Webster, above a restaurant called "The Happy Burrito", three stupid college boys left the door to their apartment unlocked.

A thief came in to their apartment, which was exceptionally messy and disorganized. The thief took one of the boys expensive bicycles. Mind you, he could have taken cash, electronics, checks -- but he took the bike.

So, the boys learned a lesson, and asiduously locked the apartment from that day forth. Then, one day, the boys returned to find 2 dozen screws in their doorjamb. It seems a thief came by, kicked in the door, was confronted by the building super, and tried to bluff his way through with no success. Upon arrest, the thief's apartment was searched. What should turn up? The one boy's expensive bicycle -- which was returned to the boy by the thoughtful police.

4. Ive been to oakland

Though all I owned at that point was a dog bigger than myself, and stuffed animals generally smaller. I do not recall any of them being stolen. Nor did Oakland break my window.

3. of course they left the ipod and took the flashlight!

They're lumberjacks. How are they going to recharge the ipod at the lumber camp? They can't listen to it during lumber-jacking activities, because they need their ears to hear if someone yells "timber", and when they're in their lumber jack lodge, they sing songs together for their musical entertainment. Flashlights, on the other hand, run on normal batteries and can always be used for finding one's way to the outhouse.

5. Thats Canada

in one fell swoop. I may move there someday. Does anyone have tips on how to get along with lumberjacks? All I really want is to have my windows left intact while I am there.
