Bought the wrong danged power supplies -- european.

Anyone know what will happen if I run them on our American 120 volt current?

These are 12-volt power supplies made to be hardwired. They are powering LED lighting.

1. Not a good move
At best will deliver low voltage, at worst will fuck up power supply.

2. Can you "front-end" it with
a cheap transformer? Bump the 120 to 240?

3. Yes I think so
my supplier messed me up on these so this a problem I haven't comes across before. There are 2 versions; the one I need is "90~130V input". Since I resell these I will probably just eat these (or sell them in Europe) and make them discount my next order.

But I think bumping up the input would work. I just don't want to have to tell my customers to do that.

Thanks!
