ROME (AP) — The car being used in the latest James Bond film plunged into a lake in northern Italy while being driven to the set.

Producers say the driver of the Aston Martin was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. They say James Bond's iconic car was being delivered to the filming unit in heavy rain on Saturday morning when it went off the road and plunged into Lake Garda.

Italian state TV has shown footage of the smashed, black car being hoisted out of the water.

3. I still don't understand why they were driving it.
They weren't filming, rather moving the car to film elsewhere. Between 2 articles, there is either only 1 of these cars or there are only 5 of them. Seems kind of dumb not to trailer the thing from place to place. For, well, obvious reasons.

Wonder if the thing skipped when it hit the water. Perfect shape.

4. NAILED the dismount
that seemed a bit odd to me too. Sounds like someone was joyriding. I'm sure their insurance will be just pleased as punch.
