I posted yesterday about how to get my car up to snuff, it was going to cost $1800.

I have been tooling around the last couple of days in a car that my stepdad gave me as a backup - I hate driving it, but it has 4 wheels and an engine, so beggars can't be choosers...

Today I was driving home from work, anticipating picking up my car (I had some of the work done and am holding off on the rest) when the freaking sunroof on the "backup" car broke :banghead: It is open and won't close :nuke::nuke:

So I had to drop off one car while picking up another at the mechanic today.

I am snake-bit I tell ya.

1. Sorry you're having such a problem with the "gift".

Sounds like the gift that keeps on giving you bills!

I'd be pretty pissed off too! But you do have a working car, right?

Maybe, if you have a car that works, you should return the "gift"?
