OK. I've changed my eating habits for the better, my clothes are
fitting better, I feel better, but tell me this.

Why in the HELL does my scale say I've gained 7 pounds???

Does. Not. Compute.

1. Are you working out?
You may be toning up and losing inches....and they say that muscle weighs more than fat.

Either that, or your scale is broken. :P :hi:

2. Scale must be broken......
Since I pulled the muscle in my chest, I can't do a lot of physical stuff until it heals, even though I wanted to.

Weird, huh?

:hi:

If you feel better and your clothes are fitting better, you must be doing something right! To hell with the scale!

5. Yeah, that's what I'm starting to think.
The scale may lie, but my clothes don't.

7. I can proudly say that I have the exact same situation as you...
But in my case, it is because I am wearing bigger clothes, and because I got so pissed at my scale, I smashed it against the wall and broke it.

9. Sometimes, I'm tempted to hang on to the wall in order to
lessen the weight on the scale.

Boy, am I a dork!

I'm a dork, I'm a dork, I'm a dork, dork, DORK!

I'm a dork, I'm a dork, I'm a dork, dork, dork!

I'm a dork, I'm a dork, I'm a dork, dork, DORK!

I'm a DORK!

I'm a dork DORK dork!

4. You may be retaining water.
Screw the scale. Go by how your clothes fit and how you feel.

8. More muscle, less fat. Muscle weighs more. Pay no attention to scales.
If your clothes fit better, that's what counts.

12. throw away the scale.
We don't have one in the house; haven't for years. I have a pair of jeans that fit perfectly when I'm at my ideal weight, and if they're at all tight, I know it's time to lay off dessert or whatever I'd been indulging in.

Scales, IMO, cause a lot of anxiety.

Congrats on eating better! Healthy lifestyles are much more important than some arbitrary number on a scale.

14. I find that i fluctuate quite a bit. I tend to nibble instead of cooking full meals
cause I live alone. Then sometimes I splurge on fast food.
