Day 2 of my city being on fire....Damn, we need rain
I'm watching the smoke billow from the exact same spot, 24 hours after the last one. Weird thing is, it's a marshy/meadow area. This one looks like it's taking a while to put out, the helicopters have been in the air for hours now.

:hi:

1. I think it's supposed to rain
this weekend...don't know how much, or how much good it will do for the fires.

Take care. :hi:

2. The Globe said there were 120 brush fires in MA yesterday!
:o

:hi: Yeah, I think we're supposed to get some rain on Sunday. It's wicked breezy here, so that's not helping matters.

10. Stay safe.
Are you at least not in the wind's path, or is the smoke coming to your apartment?

I went through the damn wildfires in SoCal 6 months ago and I have never been so terrified for such an extended time in my entire life.

11. No, we're far above it...Up on the hill, on the 5th floor
Today the smoke was headed straight for Boston.

I remember that, that was awful

13. My area is ready to implement water rationing.
Too little Spring rain so far, and we're running out of time in the rainy season. Last year was a low water year too but the reserves were higher.

Hope it starts pouring like crazy in Boston. :hi:
