I recall that parade with that Regis guy, and it was hyping up Disney as if it was the best thing since alfalfa sprouts.

Disney's band of cartoon characters always seemed generic. Not sure why... their corny movies from the 1970s (Freaky Friday, Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, et al) seem to have more going for them than a fugly mouse...

6. They played in Boston in the past month or so.

As I was driving home from work, I caught a shitload of traffic. Traffic backed up, taking forever to get through a light. As I finally got up to the light, I realized that something was going on at the Agannis Arena across the street. (It's a Boston University sports arena that occasionally books concerts.) This was at 5:30 pm. When I saw the news that night, there was a report on the Jonas Brothers playing at the Agganis Arena. I said "who"? The news report showed lots of preteen girls screaming and excitedly saying how much they loved the Jonas Bros, as well as which particular brother they really loved. I just shook my head. I have no idea what their music sounds like, nor do I particularly care.
