My God, it's good to be home.
(Just in case anyone was wondering where I've been.)

A week of: Business, a funeral, more business, another funeral. Nonstop.

Arrived home at long last today, got knocked over by the Little Guy's greeting hug, got face licked off by the puppy, then got lips kissed off by Mrs R.

I'm beat up, exhausted, and sore all over. But I'm happy.

I'll sleep well this night, because I've run through the many, many memories of my friend Joe Mama, and my Uncle Tom, and grieved accordingly. And got some good business done, to boot.

Redstone

(PS: Thank you, thank you, whoever you are who designed the "sport" front seats for the Volvo S60. I'd probably not be able to walk right now (no exaggeration) if I'd done all that driving in almost any other car.)

3. Thanks, but I need to keep the momentum going; I'm planning to get up tomorrow
and charge into the office to follow up on the business stuff. I'm on kind of a roll, paradox though that may seem.

(Gotta get as much done as I can, before The Pain catches up with me.)

8. I'll savor it, indeed. Going to funerals will remind you to pay attention to the
good parts of life, especially when you go to two of them in the span of four days.

Thank you for your good thoughts.

10. Thank you, LG. Hey, did you know that there are Indian petroglyphs
on the rocks by the Connecticut River in Bellows Falls?

I read about that in today's Hartford Courant...It was amazing that I'd never know about them.

11. Me sitting on the rocks near the Indian petroglyphs in BF
:)

You can just barely make them out in the lower left hand corner. I didn't know about them myself until the mid 90's.

Very Vermont, you know? Don't advertise, don't mark it, just let it be.
