Good vibes needed - Bullwinkle925 is in the hospital for chest pain

My niece just called and left me a message - Sue was with her friend Marilyn and started having chest pain, so they went to the hospital (I don't know where - I'm assuming in San Francisco because they were to be at a softball game this afternoon). Evidently they're keeping her overnight. Her EKG was "clear," but they're waiting on the blood work.

That's all I know. I have calls in to my niece to find out more.

Overnight is a very good idea, since it can be difficult to diagnose a heart attack in a woman...

MrShine has been in the hospital a couple of times for the exact same thing...and each time the EKG came back clear and the bloodwork was fine.

They chalked it up to "stress".

it is always a postive step to be in the hospital when you have chest pains. i had the same problem a few years ago and while i thought i was in relativly good health, they ran tests and found partial blockages around the heart. put in a couple of stents and all is fine.

hopefully they find the problem and are able to fix it.

I hope it's just a false alarm. Sometimes just indigestion or a nasty virus can cause chest pain: I pray that's the case.
