I really feel bad bugging the lounge again, BUT I have another problem with feral kitties.
I have a very pregnant little feral. Help!!! Do I provide her with a new box, or let her use the box that they have been using?I`m taking out all of thier bedding to wash it today. It`s going to be quite cold here for a few days. Hubby wants to make these "guys" a "dog-house" (he fancies something quite fancy). Will these ferals take to this?? Will my very pregnant feral take to this? I do not think that we have time to build a suitable "dog-house" for them before these new kittens are born. Can I take her kittens to give them good homes? At what age would I do this. My local pet store has said they will take the kittens. My ferals are pretty relaxed with me petting and cutting out thier "knots in thier heavy winter coats". The last time I came to the lounge was when I had a problem with eye infections with my ferals. You tld me to try L-Lysine. Worked like a charm!! Thanks to you lounge members my ferals can see out of both of thier eyes! Thanks in advance for any help you can give!
Maybe from a local feed store? Best dog house is 5 simple bales of hay. 3 to form a U, 2 on top for a roof.
As for rehoming the babies, 8 weeks is ideal (and the legal age in some states/counties. Make sure the place you're taking them to will spay/neuter them, or have it done before you turn them over.
2. As a matter of fact, I`m in a rural area with access to hay.
It`s very hard when I have such a soft heart and no money. But, I DO manage to provide cat food for these "guys and girls". I called my local vet about spaying, she said they will help me with this! Yeeee--Haww. Thanks!
