39. Well, a few people were REALLY pissed off

That I did not agree that a superbowl ad for snickers was homo-phobic.

And I have been haunted since then by it. Even though my best friend who is gay thought it was funny, a guy I worked with who was gay thought the same thing, and my wife's X-best friend who is gay also thought it was funny.

I have been a good friend of gays and their rights, but some here thought I was anti-gay because I didn't agree about one ad.

My brother in law is gay, my best friend is, and yet I have been labeled by a few here as anti-gay because of my stance on a damned ad on TV.

I will continue my support of gays and lesbians to marry and have the same civil rights we all do. I will continue to support our friends in the transgender community as I did in the 90's. I am an open person who supports the rights of others.

But that does not mean we always agree. It does not mean though we cannot remain friends. Sadly, for some, it means I am on the out.
