What's better than photographing a family of geese with brand-new babies? Three goose families waddling into your back yard all at once! They must have emptied all the nests around the lake. By the time I could grab my camera, they were already onto me and on their way to the water:






Never fear--I got close-ups, as well. The white domestic goose definitely has an auntie thing going, or is an uncle. Heather has two somethings, anyway:
