I find the MCR songs I've heard to be very catchy, but if I wanted to watch Freddie Mercury, I'd pop in a Queen DVD, not watch some emo boy with a bad haircut try to do his Freddie Mercury imitation.

It's the trifecta of suck. It's modern emo...none of them hold a candle to Sunny Day Real Estate. It's all poseur all the time for the emo-kids now. Not that SDRE was good, mind you...but at least "Diary" was a cohesive CD.

3. AAR trivia:

AAR guitarist/keyboardist Nick Wheeler's sister (Jennifer) had her husband killed by her boyfriend. The husband went to answer the door and the boyfriend shot him dead, cold blooded, four bullets. She got 10 years for conspiracy and the boyfriend got life, no parole. A second male, another Stillwater High grad, was convicted of criminal conspiracy for driving the getaway car and obtaining the gun. She got off after 5 years in the county jail, did not have to go to the state pen. She is back as a hair stylist and her shop has a sign that says "Official hair salon of the All-American Rejects."

I normally try to keep an open mind about music, but this genre (which includes bands like Reliant K, Saosin, Chevelle, Anberlin, Thousand Foot Krutch and a bunch of others) I cannot fucking stand. :puke:

And they are quite horrible. I have listened to quite a few of them and they all suck.
