I would love to see him I hope the audience is clever enough for him. I have seem him in America where the audience either couldn't understand him because of the accent or they were dumb as a sack of hammers because he was brilliant!

thanks to his show The Riches. I would hope people have expsoed themselves to his videos, or at least watched the various youtube clips.

Then again, Monty Python has always been big in America, so I don't think the accents are a problem ;)

Now, trying understand Gwen on Torchwood... well, I'm glad I always record it first so when I need to, I can replay her scenes, or those of her husband ;)

Scottish cop drama took me a bit of time to get used to. The first three lines or so my wife looked at me and we both said... WTF? A British workmate of mine was in Edinburgh recently and a woman asked her what time it was 3 times. Finally the woman took her by the wrist and turned her watch round and pointed:)

David Tennant was on Top Gear the other night and I learned he was Scottish as well. But his accent isn't anywhere near as bad as those Cardiff ones!

I'm trying to think if Eddie makes use of either accent. Only his impersonation of Sean Connery comes to mind

omg he's SO SEXY I am in love :loveya: he was sooooo foxy in his tux jacket.
He talks fast so I can't remember whatall happened but I know I liked the jokes about gatherers counting berries :rofl: I hope we can get a dvd someday so we can remember some of what he said.

(We're going to see Lewis Black in a couple of weeks and I hope I won't have a Loud Laugher sitting behind me like I did tonight.)

I don't want to spoil the show too much for anyone who's about to see him but he talked about history a lot, Spartans, Romans, Greeks, bible-stuff. The funniest parts I remember where when he talked about wild animals in Africa and when he told about hunter/gatherers :rofl:
I hope there'll be a dvd from the show because I missed some of the jokes, I was close to him but I had two over-excited laughers sitting behind me x(
A couple of times people in the audience complained that they couldn't hear him, they said SPEAK UP or HOLD THE MIC CLOSER or something. I think their real problem was just his accent, and also the fact that they were assholes. They were real downers but he made a joke of it and then talked just the same.

but we can't afford the tickets(they are unusually high for this area.. we were surprised!)
