Wow...we must have pissed off Mother Earth big time...
I don't know if I've ever seen this many quakes on the California-Nevada map before.

Hold me. :scared:

2. I've convinced myself
that Mother Nature is relieving some pressure so that "the big one" is avoided.

Denial: not just a river in Egypt.

:scared:

3. How are you?
I feel like I haven't seen you in a long time. How's that beautiful, funny little baby boy of yours. Many times I think of "He made a mess Mama!" and it makes me smile.

5. Hi MrsGrumpy!!
I've been lurking daily, but not posting very often. I'm in Court Reporting school and between that, working full-time and being a mommy, I feel like all of my time has been sucked right from under me.

My son is doing great. He'll be 5 years old on Monday. Five!! I can't believe it!! He's been in Arizona since Saturday with Grandma and I'm flying out there tomorrow to spend the weekend and then bring him back with me. I miss him tons but apparently, he's having a great time. I asked to speak to him for the first time yesterday and he said he was "too busy" to talk to me. The little shit. LOL.

4. that animation map is pretty cool
seems the plate is on the move, but many small ones are better than one big one letting loose.

6. Nah...
they're just on a big fault line there (actually, it's the boundary between the North American Plate and the Pacific Plate). It's not unusual to see many earthquakes on two plate boundaries.

7. Not this many though...
..especially in Nevada. I check the map at least weekly and usually there are only a few sprinkled here and there but to see so many quakes throughout the state is pretty unusual, or at least it has been for the last couple years, which is how long I've been checking the map.
