I went on a Disney cruise in 1990 (the Big Red Boat, now retired) and there was so much wonderful fruit! There was also not a working elevator, so I ran up and down NINE DECKS and had a room near the bilgepump, in the bowels of the beast!

I could not believe people gain weight on cruises. My experience was quite healthy for me. Sure, you eat all the time, but they do such artistic things with fruit, it's very appetizing.

19. Been on this ship...and its sister the Majesty of the Seas

It's been over 10 years though- I sailed way back when these ships were sailing out of Miami doing 7-night Caribbean sailings in the mid-1990's. Over 20 cruises later, the lastest one being this past January, I've been on ships more than twice their size.

The ships are beautiful but my only negative would be that the rooms are a bit small compared to the modern ships of the 2000s. You are going to have a blast! :hi:
