Call me a fuddy duddy but I (at times) find terms of endearment a minor annoyance. I KNOW it can be a regional thing but for some reason I feel a tad annoyed when teens working in retail outlets and restaurants call me 'hon' 'babe' 'love' etc ..

But, to your original question, I do once in a while call my husband 'babe' and he doesn't seem to mind.
