Have you received graduation announcements for the kids of people you hardly know?

A lot of people send those things to their whole Christmas card list. A few years ago, we got an announcement for the daughter of a law school buddy of my dad, this buddy lives at least 3 hours away. How many people do you plan on sending announcements to or how many did you send them to? I only sent announcements to relatives and close friends, not the whole Christmas card list or Rolodex of my parents

1. Yeah, I got one recently for a second cousin who I'd met only once
when I was in my 20s and he was in his teens. And he lived about 1400 miles away. :P
