1. That was straight up assault on the first passenger
and she wants to press charges on someone else? Someone needs to bring silence to the world and fall between the tracks.

7. OMG LOL
what really got me was the expression on the passengers, they must deal with this stuff all the time, no one even seemed phased, even the old lady

12. I assumed the old lady was terrified...
...since the crazy girl in question seemed to be focusing on her at first, and looked like she was about two seconds away from physically assaulting her.

9. I'm a little shocked that no one came to the aid of the elderly woman.
I would have. Maybe I'm missing something.

10. The one guy who struck the woman did (in a sense).
You can hear him saying, "Leave her alone. She's just an old woman. Leave her alone!" That's when the crazy-gal turned on him.

11. I thought I heard that. I was just a bit shocked that with all those guys
on the train, no one stood up to sort of 'stand and protect' that older woman. That crazy-gal was tiny, anyone of those guys could have handled her had she gotten violent.

13. yes
insane ranting probably takes people aback so that they really are hesitant about
jumping in the fray.
i really felt for the *mature* woman.

17. I'm with you, Midlodemocrat...
...I found the whole thing really, really sad. Was it out of fear that no one did anything, or maybe that plus some "What the fuck do I care?" attitude?

I also find it amazing that scenes like this get posted and so many responses (not just here in the Lounge, mind you) seem to be "LOL!"

What the fuck is funny about this shit? That old lady probably remembers a time when she had to sit on the back of the bus.

They all just sat around and stared while that girl harrassed her.

24. Reminds me of a Morey Amsterdam joke...
Did you hear about the new female sheriff in town?

All the guys are trying to get into her posse.

Here's a righteous "Bad-a-boom" for the late, great, human joke machine.
