I am going to be 50 this year... (well yeah thats sad also)

My daughters maid-of-honor lives in FL so she really can't plan the shower....
I offered to step in and help.
The other bridesmaids are all veterans at this...

but I have NO idea what to do...
I have never been in a wedding other than my own and as a witness to one in my house.
So I have never been a bridesmaid

never planned a shower
baby or wedding....
other than the guest list I have no freekin clue what to do!!! :p

I have to rely on kids half my age to tell me.....

I am so deprived. I feel like an idiot!!!!

i'm nearly 27 and would not have the foggiest idea about planning a shower of any kind. i've also never been a bridesmaid, but that doesn't bother me all that much.

I got lucky. Umm, well.. I used dirty tricks and tradition to snake out of all that "shower" stuff that goes with babies.

I think I said, "Dudes dont goto baby showers. They go fishing."

She said, "But Bill is coming with sally."

My favorite thing to do, when giving a bridal shower, is to get some nice stationery and have all the guests write 5 things (advice) for the new bride. Then, pass them around and have everyone read them! It's a lot of fun...and doesn't cost much to do! :D
