The straw that broke the camel's back
I'm so sick of struggling. It seems to all pile on at once. Gas and groceries have pushed us to the breaking point. Hardly any food in the house, 20 bucks in the bank, over a week until payday. What happens? My husband just called, the fuel pump went out in his car on the way to work.

I'm so tired. Sorry to whine, I just feel sick to my stomach with all this stress, and I don't see things getting better any time soon.

1. I am sorry to hear that.
I think things may get worse before they get better with these gas and grocery prices going through the roof.

Is your husband mechanically inclined? Can he replace the fuel pump himself? If he can it would sure save a lot of money !

7. Thankfully, yes
he can replace the fuel pump, but first we have to buy the fuel pump. Considering his car is a Jetta, I'm afraid to even find out how much it is.

When it rains, it pours.

:hug::hug::hug:
I know the feeling, and it sucks. Just hang in there, even though it's a struggle. Take heart in the things that don't cost money...your family, friends, the dandelions blooming.
And whine away...That's one of the best things about DU.

8. That's what I reminded myself this morning
I truly have so many things to be thankful for.

Such as, we have tiny little tomatos already blooming. I can't wait until I can walk out in my yard and pick a ripe, juicy tomato!

Thanks for the :hug:

5. I feel you
I have been beaten to death over about the last 2-3 years and don't see and end coming any time soon. For every injury, there's an insult following close behind :(

hang in there though, surely someday it has to get better :hug:
