9. Heard on the news tonite...someone in a nearby town left crates

with 3 cat moms and 27 approx 4 week old kittens in a shopping parking lot today. Cute as buttons...hope they'll all get adopted. Folks need to spay/neuter their cats very early on.

He is a special needs kitty (FIV+), but a wonderful cat who loves our new dog Bentley and loves to cuddle with us.

I had a very gentle, but huge, Orange Tabby when I was 10. I still miss that cat...he was so gentle.

24. I had an FIV+ kitty. He lived to be 18 or 19 years old

Didn't know for sure because he came with the house when I bought it, but my vets estimated his age to be "nearly 20". I had him for seven years and he lived through kidney problems, losing a leg to cancer, and UTIs. FIV+ really isn't the death sentence it's made out to be!

I love all of those! The only thing keeping me from getting another one is the thought of the little one possibly getting beaten-up by my two big cats. :scared:

33. Well.... poor muchkin....aka "Pumkin" had quite a few battle scars

...from our oldest (Bear). Bear is, without a doubt, the wildest cat I've ever known. He was already 2 months old when we adopted him...he'd been roaming the streets of a neighborhood where nobody wanted him...and I think he'd been tormented by people. He's calmed down a lot, but at times he'll just bite our other cat- for no apparent reason!! Anyway...I wish I could get another one (or 2 or 3!!). :hi:
