The poem I submitted for publication has BEEN ACCEPTED!

It will be printed in the spring edition of the Myriad...

And it will be available in their brand-new online edition too!

This is the first time they've had an online edition...

And my poem will be in it!

32. I still remember MY first acceptance letter.

It was in '83. I had just moved to Orlando, and I was feeling a little depressed about how things were going- then the letter came. I WAS GOING TO BE A PUBLISHED POET. I was high for a week on the concept alone.

Okay, so it was one small poem in the middle of a large anthology book. That didn't matter- forever after, I would have the legacy of having had my words- my THOUGHTS put down in a BOOK for others to read! It was a moment and a feeling I still treasure today.
