I want to plant my damn seedlings! Stupid Minnesota!
I have an exorbitant number of seedlings in trays and they are all getting overgrown because it will NOT stay above freezing, so I can't transplant them.

Minnesota is teh stupid.

3. I had a rose garden, once.
It was mauled by woodpeckers.

2. MG Jr. brought home a carrot seedling from preschool
I didn't think the sucker was going to make it--two leaves, hair-thin stem, propped up in a tiny clear plastic cup with a tissue at the bottom that must be kept damp but not wet. But here it is a couple of weeks later, and it's sprouted a third carrot-green-type leaf. It wants a garden, but alas I can't give it one yet. If I got my butt in gear I could get seedling trays so it could at least have some friends to grow with while we wait for the weather to warm up.

4. Aw!
SophieMN planted some flower seedlings, but they got root-rot. I re-planted some new ones in the hopes she'll be fooled.

6. That's sweet
MG Jr. is quite concerned about his carrot seedling, so I hope it'll survive till the ground is ready.

7. In a few weeks, we in the lower latitudes will envy you.
If it's any comfort. :-)
