I confess. I'm a nail biter.

1. Me too.
I never used to bite my nails as a kid. It's a nervous habit I developed only as an adult after I developed the chronic pain. :(

2. I used to do it all the time
Toenails too. I was flexible when I was a kid. :) And my nails were ridiculously strong, and my fingers very fat, so most fingernail cutters just didn't work.

But then I got braces and had to break the habit... don't do it anymore.

7. I do, I have for as long as I can remember
I also smoke and I've often told people that if I could wave a magic wand and immediately and forever quit one of those two disgusting habits, it would definitely be the nail bitting that I would quit, without question.

(Yeah, yeah, I know I need to quit the smoking, too...)

9. I used to.
I remember doing it in junior high all the way through college. On a friend's recommendation, I started using that clear peppery liquid that you can paint on your nails, and I broke the habit like *snaps fingers* that! I'm telling ya, if you want to break your habit, that stuff works! :)
