When was your peak of DU-ish-ness?

Poll question: When was your peak of DU-ish-ness?

Any of us who have been around for a few years in the lounge have seen the waxing and waning to the extent of just who and how much people participate? What years did you participate the most? What was YOUR personal pinnacle of DU glory?

Me? 2004-early 2005. We my (now) husband and I began dating, he said he felt he was nailing the lounge head cheerleader. Now, I'm pretty much just another semi-lurker (which is fine).

1. I don't know if I've had a peak really.

Just being an interested observer and from time to time giving my 2 cents worth interspersed with bouts of personal angst. Never really in the middle of anything even from 2001 on.

I was here a lot, and I made a lot of fine new friends that summer, especially...

Everything's different now...

A lot of folks no longer post the way they did then...

The feeling is different here these days...

I've been here about a year, and see posters with half the time with 10,000 to 20,000 posts! Yikes!

9. Late 2005-2006-2007 I spent a boatload of time here

60-100 post per day.
I probably would post more if some of my favorite DUers were around more.
I think it is just the natural way of things here in this little world.
The old are silenced by the voices of the new.
I imagine I will eventually post less and less and fade away myself.
