1. Hopefully, the parts won't cost more than a new machine
I had to replace mine a couple of years ago-the parts would have added up to about $250, and a new one was $350. I bought the new one.

If it comes to it, get a Whirlpool! They are the best, and you will be supporting one of the poorest communities in the US (Benton Harbor, MI).

3. Our old and decrepit washer is covered under our homeowners warranty
Whether they fix or replace it, it will only cost $55.00.

The laundromat's TeeVee will be tuned to those courtroom shows...

4. Ugh. Welcome to my world.
Go either early this afternoon or after 7 pm.

Mornings and right after work are always CRAZY. Trust me on this.

7. That's what Google is for!
I ran a search and found stuff...I'd post it here, but I don't want to give away where you live, lol.

Just search for <town name> laundromat and you'll find something!

10. I used to hand wash some laundry in the bathtub
when desperate and no machine available.

It works but isn't much fun....

12. I might see if we can bring a load or two over to my inlaws this weekend
Since we will be going there for Mother's Day anyway.

11. Oh damn!
I also have to travel a bit to get to my laundromat. Not fun. And not cheap, either. Be prepared to pay $1.25 per load and $.75 to dry.

This is reminding me that I need to do laundry... x(

13. Yah
I live in an area where it is assumed that everyone owns their own washers/dryers. And I do, mine just does not work.

I am going to have to go to Tustin or Santa Ana to find a coin-op laundry.
