Counterfeit $100.00 bills:

This has probably been around but it's worth repeating.

This afternoon a lady from the bank in my supermarket was showing cashiers two counterfeit $100.00 bills the bank received in deposits today. Counterfeiters have been bleaching $5.00 bills and reprinting them with scanned images of $100.00 bills for years. The bills "feel right" because they're printed on actual currency paper. I saw them from about five feet away and they looked like the real thing.

Even though new $5.00 bills are supposed to rectify this problem, one bank teller was still scammed.
