I remember watching it going when I was like 15, it even freaked me out then. Lecter is such a great villain. It's creepy to think a guy like that could exist in this world.

1. That series doesn't bother me as much as
the SAW series. I can't sleep after watching those. :scared:

they didn't scare me so much. Pretty tripped out stuff though.

3. Watch the sequels too.

I also agree with the poster about "The Saw" series.

Excellent movies, but not for the weak of heart.

The one's that gave me nightmares, and made me afraid to sleep without the lights on, were "The Exorcist", and "Halloween".

And especially, "When a Stranger Calls." YIKES!

"The calls are coming from inside the house!"

11. I have yet to watch it
I will at some point. Try Wolf Creek, that's pretty scary.

16. I think I did see that one too. *Spoiler*
Is that the one where one of the kids got his feet sawed off at the ankles?

9. oh yeah I have, and the prequel
Read the books.

None of the "Saw" movies were scary at all too me. Not really. The first and second were good, I thought the third was bad enough where I haven't watched the last one yet. I can be a bit of a snob about film.

I will never watch "The Exorcist" that would creep me out too much.

Halloween is great. Very scary. When A Stranger Calls is definitely scary. Just the notion of it is scary. Having somebody in the house like that. Yikes.

I like being scared. I try to scare myself. The Grudge and The Ring are about the scariest movies I've seen in years. High Tension is scary too.

20. Not me. Ted Levine IS Stottelmeier to me.
I occasionally see him as Starbuck in the TV movie "Moby Dick". But I love the Captain's character. The way he loves Monk and is so completely exasperated with him at the same time.

I'm thinking of watching 'The Texas Chain Saw Massacre'.

I need the peace and serenity so I can sleep!!

13. I heard Anthony Hopkins was in a theater watching the film
and when it finished he leaned forward and whispered in a woman's ear using his Lecter voice "How did you like the movie?" or something like that. :) No word on if she had a heart attack or not. :)
