I have a better fundraiser idea.

Charge people by the size of their ignore lists. DU would rival Google in cash on hand. :-)

GD: P would implode.

3. GDP would give us enough to fund a country's worth of alternative fuel research
and still manage to pay down a significant part of the national debt.

DU would immediately surpass amazon.com as the Internet's biggest money maker.

7. My ignore list has about 20 people on it.
But I only put people who are out of line and mean to people. If somebody can't put their post into a logical format, and instead has to succumb to name calling, they hit the list.

And I'm doing well thank you.

6 days to graduating from college with my Bachelor's after starting 17 years ago. Classes at night off and on, and then the last 4 semesters full blast did the job.

How about you?

8. CONNNGRATTTTULATIONSSS!
I see you just had to best my "longest Associates in the History of the World!" Doesn't it feel just freakin' great to finally be done with it all? I was lucky that because of the extraneous junk I took for the AA, the BA was less than two years after. What's the major? Did the job pay or was this out of pocket? Mine was GI Bill (the real one, not Montgomery).

Watching the tube (elevator music) while I'm typing, reading, listening to videos. One busy little laptop, this one!

10. Your record is safe.
I completed my Associates in July 2006, got laid off in August 2006, began my 4 semester run in January 2007.

15 credits in Spring 2007
15 credits in Summer 2007
21 credits in Fall 2007 <-- That was freaking stupid. All 400 level stuff.
15 credits in Spring 2008

Bachelor's in Finance: Investment Analysis, Certificate in International Business, and if all goes well, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I went finance so I could have two skill sets. My technical background, in combination with the finance should give me two paths to finding work. I can use the financial knowledge to make money on the side. I'm up 32% on all investments I've made this year, so I'm doing well so far.

I paid my way through. I sold my house in anticipation of having my old job sent to India. So that money and savings/investments have been paying for tuition, books, rent and food.

My brother has the new GI Bill, so when he's been back home long enough, he's going to start using it. He did a total of 27 months in Iraq across two tours. He gets a break before starts dealing with authority figures again. :-)

12. God bless, Bro! And you, you just like doing things the hard way, eh!
First that 21 credit Fall semester. Then self-financing WHILE your job's being sent overseas and then you major in Investment Analysis? Dude, that's some rough going. I'm not surprised your graduating MagnaCL, I'm surprised you survived it all!!

Oh, and tell your brother compared to the military civilian life is like herding kittens

6. Some people seem to be way too proud of that.
I'm looking forward to the day we're all on the same side again.
