The Pittsburgh Penguins diving team.
Pitt is good enough to beat the Flyers without the extra diving.

I love how the officials are letting the Pens elbow people in the head, but a Flyer pushes a Penguin, and they're in the box.

Rant: Off.

3. Pens up in series 1-0, game 2 is tied 2-2...
Flyers scored a shorthanded goal with under a minute to play to tie it up.

A Pittsburgh goal was disallowed due to being inconclusive, but it was a goal.

The Pens are an excellent team, and would be just as fun to watch against the Wings (Sorry Dallas fans), but I do not want the NHL to become professional soccer with diving for penalties.

2. Yeah, it sucks, that's for sure...
That seemed to happen a lot in the Avs-Red Wings series. Detroit seemed to get away with a lot of stuff sometimes...

Then again, I AM admittedly biased... But still - it's a damned shame when that stuff happens, and when it's a legitimate complaint.

4. I can understand, not condone, but understand a subpar team doing it.
But when the best teams in the world do that kind of thing, they should be penalized harshly.

It demeans the sport.

5. Agreed 100%.
A lesser team, I can understand that. It's still indefensible, but I can at least understand it... But when your team is clearly the superior one on the ice by a wide margin, why are you taking these cheap shots and, what's more, actually getting away with them?

6. Rant On
Nice. Pens player drags Flyer into the Pens goalie. Penalty goes to Flyers.

Awesome.

7. Rant on again.
Penguins player throws his knee out so he hits the goalie. Flyers goalie explains with his stick that he didn't like it. Penalty Flyers.

The Penguins player dives (again) and this time gets the embellishment penalty.

So, to recap, it's ok to hit the goalie if you play for the Pens.
