3. Well maybe
If you left coast folks would have the courtesy to start your games at reasonable times, like 7 or 8pm Eastern time you would get more showings...:P

2. Hubba. We ROCKED Wakefield last night for 7 runs. I
happen to LOVE Tim Wakefield, so I was a little sorry to see it, and we still barely hung on to win it. Schilling got us in game two; we came from behind to take the series opener with a walk-off 2 run single in the ninth off of Papelbon! :woohoo: :hi:

5. I must say, I enjoyed last night's game
I would have enjoyed it more had our defense not temporarily ran away and joined the circus in the middle innings.

:D

13. They've already gone down-up-down
Prior to Wednesday's loss to the Mets, they had a streak of eight straight and 10 of 12 in which they averaged eight runs per game.

Before that, they were 9-12 and seven games back. Last Tuesday, they were 19-14 and three back. Now they're 19-18, but 2 1/2 back because the Snakes can't buy a win lately, either.

Furcal's been out of the lineup with a bad back for five games, though. Even with a club batting average of .276 and the league's fifth-highest run total, you don't take your .366/.448/.597 leadoff hitter out of the lineup and expect to win as many ball games.

8. Go Rays. The best story in baseball
You could see in Spring training that this team was going to be special. Hope they can continue to play above 500 ball and work toward a wild card. That would be a great gift!!

And if it knocked either the Yankees or the BoSox out of the playoffs that would be freakin hilarious!:D

17. It was our pleasure helping you achieve .528
Manny Ramirez is only a few days removed from hitting HR #500. Maybe only a few at bats.

I will admit, I'm leery of our bats tonight against your guy on the mound tonight.

28. Right on!
I am shocked, it looks like I am getting a choice of the game feeds (all three) on DirecTV today.

I thought that if it were being aired on ES PEEEEEUUUUUUUUU N that it would supercede any of the out of market "local team feeds" of the game.

I would rather listen to DickNBert than JonNJoe

Let's have all Twins games on ESPN and they can win the rest of the season.
