Here you go. $.17.

8. Not a problem.
I am in England right now, but I will have my agent deliver to you a bank cheque in the amount of USD 40,000. Use it to buy the car, and keep USD 3,000 for your trouble. Please to wire to me the balance by Western Union.

12. Series. We got SOO fucked this year.
Finally paid them (the bloodsucking IRS $65,000) No compassion for the fact that our accountant screwed up and THEN had the bad grace to have an aneurysm which totally took everything 'accountant like' from him.

The penalties and fines were ridiculous. If they had indicated 3 years ago that there was a problem, we would have psid up then. They never indicated a thing until they were threatening to seize our assets.

Oh, but the peeps we talked to were nice. :eyes: It's the system I guess.

13. that's scary, nothing worse than getting a letter from the irs with the big number on it.
we fucked up our taxes a few years ago, go a letter and i almost passed out after reading it, we found an accountant and she amended our taxes but it was a major problem and a big bill. My Dad had a problem similar to yours, the accountant screwed up, My Dad missed it and he got audited and then fined up the ass and finally ended up owing about $80,000.

It's a big friggin racket.

14. The thread title reminds me of that Simpsons episode
A few times Bart would casually ask of Homer obscene amounts of money. I think the episode where it was revealed that Chester J. Lampwick was in fact the creator of Itchy and Scratchy.

That car looks as though it would be a pleasurable enough ride, although I'm not a car person so much.
