1. Caveman didn't take long to get killed. Life of Mars will probably be a total fuckup
Edited on Tue May-13-08 01:06 PM by DS1
compared to the original Brit series.

4. Knight Rider, eh?
Good, we need something to take the place that will be left by BSG.

12. Why the eye rollie?
IIRC you've posted more than a few times a picture of David Hasselhoff..I assumed you were a fan....:P

15. You must be thinking of that other DuStrange.
I would no more post a pic of Hasselhoff than I would post a CarrotTop pic.
Who, rumor has it, is the star of the new Knight Rider.

23. I suspected that tv movie was a test-run pilot...
Can't believe people sat through the whole thing and actually liked it. (everything beyond act 1 is atrocious.)

Of course, that includes My Name is Earl, The Office and Lost. All on Thursday nights. And sometimes I'll watch Family Guy.

8. Notice NBC
picked up a lot of their drama pilots. I guess it was reflective of how many spots they needed to fill.

Glad to see NCIS is renewed, although I wasn't worried that it was going to be cancelled to begin with.

There looks to be a few new shows I might check out.

Haper's Island sounded kind of like a "Lost" rip off to me, when I read the description of it on Futon Critic.

9. Arrested Development fans take note.
"Sit Down, Shut up" is an animated comedy developed by Mitch Hurwitz and does have significant AD connections. I believe Bateman, Arnett and Winkler are all involved.

10. They cancelled "Aliens in America?"
Fuck...I liked that show.

I noticed that painfully unfunny "Til' Death" is returning. A root canal is more entertaining that that crap fest.

14. Glad to see "Life" is coming back
But "Moonlight" is in limbo as is "How I met Your Mother", "Shark" and "Old Christine"? Geez, those are the only shows worth watching on CBS besides "Criminal Minds".

16. Hmmm, I noticed something interesting....
both Law and Order and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit are back, What about Law and Order:Criminal Intent? Also, the stations didn't give Journeymen, Jericho and New Amsterdam there chances.

Jericho has a following as well as the other two shows. I would love to know who does the Nielson ratings because these are great shows.

These people do not understand good dramas or for that matter good comedy.

24. Law & Order: CI was moved to USA
last October. The reruns were shown on NBC this spring because of the strike. I'm assuming it will return to USA as originally planned.

20. K-Ville needed local writers!
N.O. people were constantly ragging on rookie mistakes like "How's your mom 'n 'em doin'?" (no "doin'") and the "gumbo party". My favorite was the just-opened shortcut that lets you get from the French Quarter to Algiers (on the other side of the Mississippi) in about 40 seconds. :eyes:

Could the WGA have anything to do with this? During the recent strike, I noticed there was a WGA West and a WGA East -- but no WGA South. How would a New Orleans writer (about as hard to find as an actor in L.A.) go about joining?

28. I heard one of the CBS comedies
That or Christine or the other one besides Two/Half/Men may not come back unless CBS adds another comedy night.

Right now there are five comedies for only four slots. I also heard Christine may be moving to ABC.

And at least one will be watchable (legally) online if NBC keeps putting full episodes on their website. :)
