Oooohh... My husband turned the big 3-0 today!

I'd already bought him a present, but I took the kids to our local gourmet food shop and let them assemble a neat little "goody bag" of treats. I also made him some blackberry cream cakes and an apple pie. I'm throwing his *big* party on Saturday, but we HAD to do something fun to commemorate the actual day of his birth.

I also e-mailed his co-workers and told them to tell him that he looks especially old and tired today. I figure the pie alone makes up for doing that.
