I make sure that the right pills get taken and that ma gets to bed before 10:00 lest pain start kicking in. Until Friday, that's when my brother takes over and I leave.

20. Sorry, I don't understand ^_^
Yesterday I did make a post including a sentence in French, and I do understand it, but it was laid out to me phonetically and a good translation provided. ;) I'm not so familiar with the language, alas.

5. first day at the new job, so I threw a Tuna Casserole in the crock pot this morning
Edited on Tue May-13-08 08:10 PM by AZDemDist6
it was pretty good actually. I cooked the pasta last night and tossed it in a bit of oil in a zip lock then threw this together this morning

2 cans tuna, drained
2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup (so sue me! :P )
1 cup milk
10 oz cooked VERY al dente Pasta
10 oz mixed frozen veggies
(I added a couple TBSP of minced dried onion, Old Bay Seasoning, Lemon Pepper and paprika)

Place in a well greased crockpot, sprinkle liberally with slivered almonds and cook on low for 8 hours

Not bad for an "out of a can" meal, not bad at all.

and congrats on getting through your Freakanomics whatever.....

15. I had a cheeseburger and a root beer!
We went to MrLaraMN's aunt and uncle's restaurant in town. They're only open seasonally, so it's a big hot spot. I ate too much and I feel like puking- but in a good way.

:D

Tomato basil tortillas topped with Spanish rice, doctored up refried beans, sharp chedda and Italian cheeses, sliced grape tomatoes and olives, diced onions, and Frank's Red Hot. All topped off with this food of the goddess:
