And yes, I know my bass is a bit out of tune there. I was still figuring out some of the quirks of multi-track recording and I couldn't quite get the volume right on the playback to be able to really hear what I was playing properly. :P

6. Very intense.

Melodic, but penetrating and almost like a Buddhist chant effect with the instrument/synthesizer? in the background. The song is captivating. Darkly beautiful, and a little supernatural.

8. It's just guitar and bass in the background, although there's distortion and whatnot and both are

electric, not acoustic. :) The solo part was just pure straight through the amp, and the voice part was straight from the microphone recorded as is. But the rhythm and bass had distortion. I wanted the solo and voice to cut through with their opposing lines, while the bass and rhythm are kind of background and they just provide the structure behind the song itself.
