1. Another site I used to frequent

has had the general intelligence level watered down a bit lately (it's a completely open and free forum, post anything legal there. Just no warez/pirated stuff or child porn. Regular porn is okay though. So a lot of people just see 'free porn links!' and sign up.) and I've seen people write 'tl;dr' more and more often when someone posts something thoughtful and interesting. (for those who don't frequent sites that abound with stupid people, tl;dr stands for 'Too long; didn't read'.)

If they're too intellectually bankrupt to bother reading something that's more than a couple of paragraphs, then why the (*&% do they feel the need to comment on that fact?

First time I ever saw tl;dl written down was only a few months ago. But I've seen it more since then.

Way too often, people go spouting off when they didn't even read the article in the OP.
