Regarding "24"
God, is CTU the worst run government agency in the history of spywork or what?

5. No, I'm just getting around to watching it. I'm at hour 16 of season one.
I can't stand shows that get continued week to week, so I do DVDs. Also, I have no television.

3. It's modeled after the Bush administration...
you'd be surprised in the similarities...

9. and Bushco got inspiration
from the 24 torture scenes. In various internal emails, 24 was used to highlight the effectiveness of 'harsh interrogation', plus it helped de-sensitized the American populace.

6. Say what you will, but the bottom line is: they fucking get the job done.
Watching them on DVD is the ONLY way to go. We own all 6 seasons. Correction: 5 of 6, since I've forgotten to whom I lent season 2 and whoever they are, they don't seem too concerned about returning it.... :mad:

7. Season Seven is going to be about how Jack Bauer gets back your season 2 DVDs
Hope your friends can handle the torture.

8. YES!!!
24: nothing like the ol' moral dilemma of torturing (or even killing a few badies) to save millions of innocents.

:hi: :popcorn: <=?

10. I frickin' love "24."
Which is almost weird, seeing as it's basically an über-Conservative's wet dream... But damn, is it one helluva fun show to watch!

My parents, both very solid Dems like myself, also love the show, and we'll watch the show and yell at the TV sometimes. I've missed our "24" nights the past few months.

11. It's not their fault. They're just following protocols.
