Everybody, my wife just gave me some horrible news!

All day long I've been thinking: "Today is Tuesday, so I've got plenty of time to get this paper done."

Then she tells me that today is Wednesday (well, actually Thursday now)!!!!

Somebody stole Tuesday ! ! !

I stuck my citations in about 3 pages too early on a paper, and couldn't get it deleted! So I gave up and sent it on in. I hate that what looks to be convenient auto insertions that I can't undo!! But at least it isn't as bad as the olden days, where if you typed something, there it was forever! Viva the modern innovations!!

I turn ALL the features off and do the whole thing by hand. None of those squiggly lines. As little of the 'autocorrect' as possible. Sometimes I want a lowercase letter after a period for a REASON, damn it. :P

13. What's a GTA?

Am just coming back to the world of college after many years...I have a theory on plagiarism, though: There's nothing that hasn't been said before, just best to check first? And the school I am attending has a brilliant student library resource and also a "plagiarism checker" that gives the writer an exact idea as to where or how one might be in trouble there! We didn't have this stuff back when I first attempted college! But the parties were good...I am in my finals week as we speak! Wish this rusty old lady luck!!! It took me a long time just to be able to spell 'plagiarism' and feel comfortable with it!! Spell Checker is making me intellectually flabby!!

By all means, if you must fail someone in this day and age for this particular offense, then do so! There really isn't an excuse, is there?

this particular student just copied two book reviews verbatim from the net (one was from the National Review) ... stupid!

I didn't fail her because of it, she just got a 0s for those reports, and that did her in

29. you probably should have done more than just give her 0s on those 2 - like turn her in to the

administration. Plagiarism is a very serious offense, and high school & college students definitely should know better and should be punished for it.
