Have you ever found yourself on a Saturday afternoon watching "My Super Sweet 16" and you couldn't pull yourself away from the television. I was never sure if I watched it because I couldn't believe the parties these girls had or if I couldn't believe the way these "Super" girls treated their friends and parents. Sometimes I just wanted to slap them upside the head and give them a little reality check.

Starting in August, eight of our "favorite" Sweet 16-ers are going to get the surprise of their lives. Apparently their parents are fed up with the way they act (although I have to argue much of it is their parents' fault), and they are ready to lay down the law.

"My Super Sweet 16 Presents: Exiled!" will take these teens from their posh and ritzy lives and drop them in remote, impoverished villages around the globe to see how those less fortunate than themselves live.

According to the show's Web site, the teens will be transported to the "jungles of the Amazon, the tundra of the Arctic Circle, the Andes mountains and remote islands in the South Pacific where they'll have to live like local commoners with none of the amenities of their normally privileged lives."

This actually might be really fun to watch. Hopefully, these little brats end up learning valuable lessons.

:P

My prediction is that the kids will go back to their posh lifestyles and unfortunately any lesson that could have been learned will be forgotten, and the parents will continue raising brats in the same way .. spoiling them to no end.

4. Seriously - the parents are the ones that OK'd these parties in the first place
Of course the kids are gonna want to have major birthday parties - why didn't the parents reign them in at that time?

6. Absolutely....
Really, the lesson to be learned from Super Sweet 16 is that child-rearing means more than throwing your cash around. The kids are obnoxious, sure, but they're exactly what the parents raised them to be...

7. Oh, good - inflict self-entitled spoiled brats on people who have enough problems
God, I hate so-called "reality" television. :banghead:
