and if she ever sends me another piece of racist right wing nazi email --- well, she's family so I'm not sure what I'll do. Although from now on when she sends this stuff, I'm calling her out on it.

1. BTW, I found a solution to right-wing email crap

Go to http://wwwl.snopes.com and look up the email and find out the truth behind it. About 5-6 years ago my SIL sent me that stupid email about the 50 people that the Clinton's supposively had killed. I went to snopes, looked up the truth and emailed it back to her AND to everyone else on the distribution list. You MUST hit REPLY ALL so that everyone gets the truth not just who emailed it.

Needless to say my SIL was pissed I sent that reply back to everyone. I told her I was pissed she sent lies like that out to people without geting the real truth. Then I told her if I ever saw crap like that in my email I would continue to forward the truth to everyone on the email list even if she BCC: all future emails (I held the original email hostage so I had all the email addresses).

Never heard word one again about it

3. I opted for a different solution.....

My relative kept sending me crap, even after I requested he take my name off of his list. Finally, I began posting his email address into every website I could find- gay porn was the preference, but I wasn't all that picky. Once the email harvesters found him, he was hip-wading through hundreds of spam messages per day and had to change addresses.

I never confessed to it, but I think he knew it was me. I've not received another email, other than family business.

2. OMG your post just made me realize something

I have a right wing nazi nut aunt too, and she's been absolutely jonesing for a computer. She SAYS she just wants it to go to Web sites that are plugged on TV (hmmm do Bill O'Reilly, Hannity, and Rush recommend certain sites? she does whatever they tell her to), but what if she ever actually learns how to use a computer, buys one, and ends up forwarding me right-wing missives? I may :puke:
