Question: Is the Quarter Pounder still a quarter pound?
Had one at the airport and it was about an 1/8 of an inch thick.

I remember them being squeeshy.

1. Yeah, it's a quarter of a pound BEFORE IT'S COOKED.
When it's still frozen and just out of the cardboard shipping container. (Formner McDonald's burger-flipper here...)

After it's cooked, and the formerly frozen water, and the fat and everything else is gone. Who knows? Maybe an eighth of a pound? :shrug:

4. And it's the wording ...
A QUARTER POUND OF BEEF! - which is 4oz.

In the dietary world, 4oz of meat is about the size of a deck of playing cards. You get what you pay for.
