I Am Not MIKE!!!!!!!!

I got phone calls from different numbers and different people from late afternoon to late night/early morning (probably only about 5 or 6 just spaced apart enough to wake my ass up :grr: a few times) The first one came from a pay phone, then from different numbers all in the same area code. All looking for "Mike" :wtf: just suddenly. I'm guessing someone was messing with me, but it seemed strange that all of the callers seemed genuinely puzzled when I told them "THERE IS NO MIKE AT THIS NUMBER!" (especially the one that called the latest, not even sure what time it was at.)

If it's not one of them, I don't answer it. I have two other numbers I can be reached at and everybody I know has those numbers.

Within the past few months, I've gotten a mulitude of calls from some dude asking for Nikki. Keep in mind that it's always the same guy and he's always keeps asking for Nikki. (BTW....My dog's name is Nikki)

Some chick probably gave him a fake number (this was a new phone number for me) and the poor guy was desperately looking for his "Nikki."

After speaking with him for about the 50th time, I said that I was "sure" that his "Nikki" had not/nor ever lived here....his calls stopped for a couple of days.

A few days later....my phone was ringing and it was him once again. He politely asked "Can I please talk to Nikki." I said "You can't now.....Nikki is outside in the backyard taking a shit."

He never called again. :rofl:

13. My cell used to be one digit off from a fax

number for an insurance company. You can imagine how irritating that was! I'd have 25 missed calls and all the messages would be that fax noise (and this was in the days before you could delete messages part way through).

15. Have had my phone number for almost two years, and I am still...

Mia Maya.

Took the phone company almost a year and a half to have my caller ID not show up as Mia Maya to others I would call.

Phone Companies: Technology in the slow lane :P
