that's the nautical theme of ShineBoy's 8th grade graduation dance on 6/12, of which I am the co-chair of the decorating committee.

I'm hosting a beer and pizza happy hour gathering tonite for a couple of hours while we do such things as assemble a giant cardboard anchor, captain's wheel, and fake pier pilings for the "dock" that will be built for the entry way.

Figure I might as well ply the other volunteers with free beer and pizza to get as much help as we can.
